Personal History

I'm a 45 yr young male that still loves to ride motocross.  My 15 yr old son wanted to begen racing this year so I bought him his first dirt bike. After his first motocross event I took him home and while he was inside, I jumped on his bike and rode it down the way and back and was hooked once again.  By the next weekend I was racing a Honda CRF250R. Now 8 weeks later, I'm still racing the CRF250R and a CRF450R, just can't get enough.

During the week, I'm in the gym at least 2 to 4 times at 1.5 hrs each time. I'm 6' and 195 lbs and would to think in good shape.

I'm divorced and have two boys, one is 15, he races with me and the other 7, he is my sports all-star as far as baseball and football goes. Just can't seem to get him into racing.

Riding Goals

Goals for 2011 is for me and my son to enter into the Arkansas State MX Series and compete at all of the different locations that it will be held and winning our divisions.  At the moment we usually finish in the top three at all of the events we go to.  But like any competitor, I would like to be known as the person to beat when you roll up to a track.

Competitive Highlights

I was riding my 450 for the first time ever plus I had never even riden a 450. In the second turn of the moto I killed my bike and couldn't get it starter.  There 9 riders in the event of 5 laps. After about the 8th kick I realized it was in gear, put it in neutral and the bike started on the very next kick. Long story short, I finished 3rd.
