Personal History
Well, for starters my name is Kerry Howe. My parents gave me my first bike when I was five, and ever since I have been on one as much as I possibly can. Throughout my childhood and early adulthood, I competed in over 50 competitive races, from beginner to amateur classes. After I graduated high school at Charlestown High in Charlestown, Indiana, I entered the military service. I believe service to our country is one of the best ways to build a strong and dependable character. I returned from deployment at the end of the 2013 race season and am currently beginning the process of transitioning back to civilian life. Now that I am a bit older and out on my own I have built my own track along with my own team. I say team, but really it's just my best bud and I on KTMs, and we present ourselves as a team at the track. We practice together and push each other to the limit. I am eager to take my riding as far as it will go. I feel I've spent enough time away from family and the tracks and I want to pursue my racing career once again, and take it all the way to the top.
Riding Goals
I ride because I love it. It's just the one thing that frees me from everything else, and there is no other feeling in the world that could compare. There hasn't been a day since I bought my bike that I haven't been out on my track giving it everything I have. In order to be the best I understand that you have to train like the best. As a racer I am in the gym and on the track everyday preparing for the upcoming race season. My first and foremost goal as a rider is to continue to keep the fundamentals of Motocross and Supercross at the forefront of my training. In addition, developing my advanced techniques, such as turns, jumps, whoops, and holeshots, is something I take very seriously. Finally, winning the most competitive professional class races and establishing myself as a top tier professional racer in Motocross and/or Supercross is my ultimate career goal.
