Personal History
I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I am a grade 12 student and I am a very social person. I like to try new things. Since we live in Saskatchewan and cannot race all year long, I play hockey and badminton in the winter and enjoy golf and tennis in the summer.
Riding Goals
2020 Goals: I will be racing in the Saskatchewan Provincial series in the Intermediate class. Even though I was unable to compete the entire 2019 race season due to injury, I collected enough points to move up to Intermediate MX from Junior MX. I will be training hard to increase my endurance and strength to be sure that I am able to be very competitive for the 2020 race season. I have not yet had any formal training to date, but I will be training in Louisiana for two months this winter. It is my objective to be competitive in the Intermediate MX class in Saskatchewan in and attend the Pro Canadian National races across Western Canada to race in the Amateur Nationals and then try to qualify for the pro races. It is my objective to be very competitive in the new classes riding my 150cc. Since I am a very social person, it is also my objective to reconnect with friends, meet some new people and have a lot of fun both on and off the track.
Plans for Future: As motocross is without question my biggest passion, I will continue to train and race as much as I possibly can.
Competitive Highlights
I entered my first motocross race in June of 2009 at the age of 5. I play hockey throughout the winter and have always played on a high end AAA spring hockey team after the regular season was over. Due to the practice, training and tournament commitment, I was never able to join the motocross circuit until mid-June. In spring of 2015, I asked my dad if I could skip spring hockey and race the entire CMRC season. I had a really good summer! I finished 2nd overall in the 65cc class and 3rd overall in the 7-11 85cc class (riding my 65cc bike). I qualified for the Western Canadian Amateur Nationals where I placed 5th in the 65cc class, and I was voted by the Saskatchewan Motocross Association as the “Most Improved Rider of 2015”. In 2016 I moved up to the 85cc and supermini classes and again had a lot of fun and was placing really well. Unfortunately, due to an injury, I only raced a little over half the races. I was able to accumulate enough points in the first half of the season to still place 5th overall in the 85cc class. In those races, I did end up with a few firsts and quite a number of holeshots. This past 2018 motocross season, I captured the Saskatchewan provincial championship for 85cc (12-16) class and captured third in the Supermini (12-16) class riding my stock 85cc bike throughout the season.
