Personal History
My name is Kelsey Thayer, I am 19 years old and I love motorsports! I was born with hip displasia and a congentital heart defect. As a result I was in a body brace to align my hips and had two open heart surgeries. I started riding a dirt bike at 13 and started racing at 15. I also love watersports, and personal watercrafts. I use our stand-up PWC to cross train and build muscle, it is hard. But it hurts a lot less when you crash! I have given blood, sweat, and tears to this sport and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Riding Goals
2012 was a wash due to a torn acl, physical therapy is done, I'm back on the bike and ready to win! In 2013 I plan on attending the Great Lakes Motocross Series, the MPX 8 Race Championship Series, and the Baja Brawl. I would also like to try and qualify for Loretta Lynn's.
Competitive Highlights
In 2010 I did no worse than second in every moto I raced in.
In 2010 and 2011 I was the MPX points champion in the Sr. Women class.
