Personal History
Kelsey started racing at the age of 5 riding a Yamaha PW50. Currently Kelsey is 15 and rides a Honda CRF150R and has raced over 70 races in her race history. She has place in 5th place and under in 85% of those races and continues to fight to be the best she can be. Riding Goals
Kelsey's goals came clear around the age of 10, she knew this was the sport she wanted to pursue and she new she would have to do what ever it takes to get there.
Her goals include
- to race regional area qualifying races in Eastern US
- advancing to the area championship
- advancing to gain a position to race in the 2014 Loretta Lynn's MX race held in TN.
- advance in a higher CC bike to continue as I grow
Competitive Highlights
The machine drives me! The sound of the bike drives my adrenalin through the roof . Knowing that there are not many females in this sport encourages me to drive 200% to keep up with the boys. There is nothing like feeling the rush as you leave the dirt ramp. People ask why I rock the pink hawk, we'll simple "it got your attention didn't it?" When you have 15-20 bikes lined up they look the same, I want spectators to KNOW I'm a young lady and yes I can rock the track just as many boys do. So I wear it because you can see me and the boys know they just got passed by a girl LOL
