The Alberta trip was great. Manitoba riders placed very well in the Saturday race. Four of us carried on to ride the Rocky Mountains near the Crows Nest Pass. Very spectacular riding and our the novice riders of the group did very well at tackling the severe terrain.
The Manitoba Dirt Riders had a very good race season. The Lillies Track had battled with the weather and was under water most of the year. We all got very good at riding mud. More riding areas were found in the province and the hare scramble communitee continues to grow.
Next on the schedule is ice racing on the frozen rivers, starting next week.
The fun never ends.

I'm still getting over a crash I had in the fall of 08 while trail riding. 6 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, a collapsed lung, and 3 bony spinal process fractures later. Racing is so much safer than out riding in an uncontrolled trail. I'm doing really well, still need some more flexability but that will come, more streching is needed. This summer's race plan is to do more hare scrambles, and vet races.

For the past 5 years I have been improving upon my practice track and am pleased to announce that it is now open to the public, 7 days a week on a pay to ride basis. I am also holding a Hare Scramble , and a Vintage Motocross series this summer. My riding and racing is going well and I have not had any set backs with injury as in the past. As a track owner and race promoter I am enjoying working with and meeting many new riders. I hope to provide an enviornment where new riders can build on their skills in a safe riding area.
