Personal History

With 20+ years in extreme sports it isn't just for fun it is a life style. It all started back in the eighties when I got my first BMX bike. It was a Blue Max and I thought it was the greatest. I started racing on this bike and that was the start.

After that, I got into flatland freestyle and dirtjumping. I competed alittle back then but mainly just raced in the NBL. I kept it up with racing and freestyle until the late eighties early nineties. This is when I learned about skating.

I started skating when I moved to Atlantic city (also started surfing at this time). I started street skating first, then I found a homemade skatepark in Absecon NJ. This opened me up to new things. I started riding halfpipe and ramps and then dabbled in freestyle.

The whole time I still rode my bike but just not at races any more. Then High school and college I stopped riding for many years. Then came my wife. With her around I started doing things that I had forgotten about. I started skating and riding BMX again. This is when I learned about Dual slolom and downhill MTB. I rode a few races and did pretty good getting 2 second place finishes in dual slolom before the series ended.

I thought it would be a fun change to start something with a motor. So one day I came home after mentioning it to my wife (more then once) and she surprised me with a TRX450r last year and I haven't looked back. Jumping and speed are the way to go and I am just getting better and better.

This year I will be racing in the Atlantic Grand Prix series in NJ in the C class ATV and plan on winning all the time.

Riding Goals

This year I am planning on taking the 35+C class. I see finishing in the top 3 all season and finishing the season in the number 1 spot. I hope to learn more about the bike and build a solid foundation of racing so next year I will have a good shot at the B class title.

I am planning on ruynning about 20 Cross country races and about 5 motocross races. It is alot for this year but I know I can do it. I am training hard and am practicing atleast twice a week to build my endurance.

Competitive Highlights

LAst year was my first year racing ATVs. I had a good showing getting in the top 5 in 4 races. This was a great starting point for me and I cant wait till this year.
