Personal History
My name is Keegan Johnson. I am 5 years old. I have been riding ATVs since I was 2.5. I started off on a Suzuki 50 Quadmaster. In 2018 I got a 2019 Yamaha Raptor 90. I ride with my family at different tracks and riding campgrounds throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. At the beginning of 2019 I rode my first dirt bike. I was hooked! 2019 will be my first year competing in motocross racing. I will be racing a 2001 Yamaha PW50. My dad rebuilt my bike for me with new plastic and a really cool graphic kit! I am eager to ride any time I can get and ready to see how well I can race. My brother, Tyler Johnson, is also starting his first year in motocross racing as well. I love that racing allows my whole family to spend time together and I can meet new friends that have the same passion as me!
Riding Goals
2019 will be my first year competing in motocross. I have an OMA membership racing in the PW50 class as number 5. I will be racing on my 1999 Yamaha PW50. This year I plan on getting to understand the world of racing and learn about the rules and regulations. I will be watching the older kid's riding habits and talking to them to get any tips they can offer to improve my riding skills. I also plan on learning how to work on and maintenance my machines with my dad. He knows everything about working on dirtbikes and atvs. One of my biggest goals this year is to just have fun and be safe!
Competitive Highlights
I will be competing my first race this year at TV Land. I look forward to checking out the track and seeing what my future may hold as I continue improving my riding skills.
My first race was awesome!!! I was so happy just to be out riding. I made a lot of friends. I came in 7th at TV land and 6th at Smith Road Raceway!
