Personal History

I have a lot of personal history when it comes to riding. I have practically grown up riding dirt bikes and this is because of my family. My father, Jason Langenbach has been racing for fifteen years now, he has worked so hard to make it to the A class and exceed it. This hard work has rubbed off on me, going to his races created a new obsession in my life. Ever since I was little I had pit bikes but it wasn't until this year I jumped out of my comfort zone and wanted to race. I got my TT-R 125 and started riding at least twice a week. Once race season started I was dedicated to this sport. I went to a total of twelve races, and I probably would have done more if it wasn't for COVID. These 12 races included hare scrambles, supercross and sprint enduros. Every single race I was dedicated to, just like how I am to my school work. I have always received high honor rolls in the past five years. My current weighted GPA is a 4.1. I also have two jobs. I started working at age fourteen at a local cafe. I still work here and prove to my bosses everyday that I deserve my amazing job. My second Job I got more recently and I'm not a huge fan of it but if I work hard I will see the positive outcomes of it. Overall a common theme in my life is hard work, my father taught me that hard work shows the type of person you are and I have prioritized this. Hard work allows you to succeed in life. I'm hoping my hard work in school, at work and on the track will make us a better person and have a better lifestyle.

Riding Goals

My long term riding goal is to place first overall in the Women's C class at the D6 cross country series. It will be my first time racing women's and I would feel accomplished if I could get first for the whole series. I can achieve this goal by being present in every race and dedicating my time to the series. When prioritizing racing, I will improve my skills. Every single race I attend I develop new skills and become a more experienced rider. Making me place better in the races. My short time goal is to get 1st in a hare scramble. I have come so close to getting first place in the past, and if I dedicate my time to racing I know I can do it. Another goal of mine is to enter a GNCC. It would be a great accomplishment to finish a GNCC let alone place. In general I think all these goals are doable and I'm going to make them happen.

Competitive Highlights

My most superior highlight is how I have never got a DNF. All the races I have ever done I finished. I persevered through all my races, there have been a couple races I was crying and hurt, but I never gave up. I continued to push through and finish. This is because I'm a strong woman who pushes through the pan, we have to fight for our victories. Another highlight of mine is racing in the Women's class at the Ridge Riders Sprint Enduro, the sprint enduro was a tough battle. At the sprint enduro I learned that this is also an emotional challenging sport not just physical. The sprint enduro took me an hour to complete one lap with three checkpoints. After I finished they sent me through a whole extra lap, where I struggled. This took an emotional and physical toll on my body. However throughout the challenging 2 hours I never quit and I ended up placing third.
