Personal History
Hi my name is Kayla, I am 13, years old. I am in the 8th grade and a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I have been riding a dirt bike since I was 6 years old. I started riding just for fun with my Dad but the first time I raced on the ice in Lake George New York I knew I loved racing. As I got older, I became more involved in my Dad's Off Road Motorcycle club and started riding off road trails. I became totally hooked on riding my bike in the dirt as well as on the ice. I also enjoy helping run Hare-scrambles and Ice Races that my Dad's club hosts in our area. I have since become a Junior member of the MC Club. I love riding and racing my bike, any chance I get to ride I do. Even when I can't ride my bike I do what I can to stay in shape. I play Soccer and Softball for my School and I play for a Local Soccer Club and Town Softball League. I also was in tap dance for 5 years. I'm looking forward to this season, I love spending my weekends racing. And when it's not my day to race, I pit for my Dad and his friends as they race. And when we aren't racing I ride locally as well as hike and cut trails to ride.
Riding Goals
My season will start in mid March and I will be training hard threw the winter in preparation for another successful year. This year I will be racing in East Coast Enduro Association and the AMA East Hare-scramble Series and my goal is to finish First overall for the year in both Series.
Competitive Highlights
I competed in the East Coast Enduro Association Hare Scramble Series,District 6 Hare Scramble series and AMA East Regional Series this year in the Senior Girls Class. And in my first year in this class I finished Third overall for the year in all three series !
