Personal History
I am 24 years old and have lived in SW Ohio my entire life. I graduated this spring with my Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering and work full time as a Manufacturing Engineer in the defense/aerospace industry. I recently married my husband Nathan who got me started with racing hare-scrambles just over 5 years ago. I have raced sport quads since 2017 where I claimed multiple championships in the Women’s class, Novice class, and worked my way up to B class locally and WXC at National GNCC races. However, mid-way through 2022 we both made the full time switch to bikes to try a new and fun challenge. I have since been racing women’s open class and loving the trail riding and training on the off weekends. Outside of riding and racing, we love kayaking, hiking, hunting, and exploring surrounding areas.
Riding Goals
Since the switch to bikes full time I have been working on building skills and confidence. With this, I look to improve my overall skills and confidence in the upcoming months and years on the bike as I did on the quad. My short term goal is to navigate the track and trails without making costly rookie mistakes. My long term goal is to improve my overall finishes at the local races and work my way up to higher ranking classes as I did with the quad, to possibly be competitive in the WXC class at nationals as well.
