Personal History
My name is Katie Camp and I'm 9 years old. I am in 4th grade and attend Liberty Elementary School in Canton, GA. My dad used to race when he was young and never thought about little girls racing....until he bought me and my sister klx 110's. We rode this past year nearly every weekend and sometimes during the week. Over the summer, we asked to race and our very first race was at Calhoun Supercross. I won both of my motos, even though I was the youngest person in my races. Soon, my dad bought me and my sister kx 65's so we could really learn how to be fast and improve our jumping skills. I will be racing in a winter series at Pro-Edge Calhoun and Pro-Edge Chattanooga and hopefully I'll stay safe and win my races. I will also continue to work on my riding skills, make good grades in school, and continue my gymnastics and lacrosse.
My hobbies are riding motocross, snow skiing, going out on the boat with my friends, and playing lacrosse. I have 3 other friends of mine that are also starting to race and we want to beat all of the boys.
Riding Goals
To continue learning to stay in the power band when I ride and improve my cornering and jumping skills. If I can become really good at those, I will win a lot of my races.
Competitive Highlights
I have won my first 2 races. I plan on racing many more races this year.
