Personal History
I'm a 37 year old physical education teacher, soccer coach and volleyball coach. I spend as much time as I possibly can with my two nephews and my niece. I got into the sport a few years ago when my oldest nephew got a bike for Christmas. I had to keep my “coolest Aunt” status! In the fall of 2023, I raced my first local race at Ten Mile MX. The rest seems like history, but it’s truly been a family journey. Myself, as well as my brothers, and their children have fallen in love with the sport. We are so fortunate to make these unbelievable memories together. Now every weekend that's not spent on the soccer field is spent at the motocross track or on the trails with my brothers and their kids. We love all that comes with the MX life- the camping at the track, the fellowship with other Moto friends, and the kids growing up outside and not on an iPad...
Riding Goals
For myself, in about a year and a half of racing, I’ve improved so much! I have advanced from local races to qualifying for the Southeast Loretta Lynn Regional! On May 3rd, 2025 I raced at the Monster Mountain Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier. It was my first time to Monster Mountain so I had to adapt and learn quickly. I was able to improve from 6th place in the first moto to 2nd place in moto 2 for a 3rd place overall. That qualified me for LL Regionals in Axton, VA this summer! I finished 18th overall at the Southeast Regional which is widely regarded as the toughest region. Starts have been a strong suit for me getting lots of holeshots and putting myself in a great spot to start the race. I credit that to my hand eye coordination that I gained playing Division I soccer as a goalkeeper. It has helped me excel on the gate where reaction time is key for a great start! I plan to continue racing new tracks, series and pursuing training camps with the hopes of continuing my dream of racing at Loretta Lynn’s!
