Personal History
My name is Katarzyna Kosciarz but I go by Kasia. I come from a polish family and I’m also a triplet with two brothers. I also have an older sister and an older brother. My dirt bike number actually comes from my older brother’s birthday, July 25. After he passed away, I knew that was going to be my racing number so I can always have a piece of him with me at all times. I grew up and lived in Illinois my whole life, but I love traveling and going on vacation all over, and road-trips are my favorite. That’s why I love driving 1-2 hours every weekend to ride as well. I enjoy listening to country music in my free time as well as drawing cars, motorcycles, and dirtbikes. I love being able to ride on the back on street bikes as well and wanna get my own in the future. I’m currently a junior in highschool and love spending time with my friends and family whenever I can. I am also interning in an animal hospital with hopes of becoming a veterinarian one day. And Ofcourse I love riding:)
Riding Goals
I started riding during summer of 2021 when I was 14. My first bike was a 2021 klx140r. Ever since my first ride I fell in love with riding and started going to the track every weekend. Later, I ended up getting a 2021 kx250f and started progressing more and more. Currently I’m trying to get into racing. My biggest goal is to make it to national races such as Loretta Lynn’s and one day make it pro. Another one of my biggest goals are to get into freestyle mx. I’m taking a little steps towards it and I set a goal for myself to hit the freestyle ramp at my local track after winter once outdoors tracks open back up. I want to make a career out of riding and every weekend I make more and more progress at the track. Riding has gave me so much confidence and I’m always going to get back up and I’m willing to try new things. Riding can be a big mental battle sometimes but taking things step by step and looking ahead at my goals has pushed me so much and I’d never would’ve imagined myself to be where I am right now.
