Personal History

My name is Karter, Check me out on facebook @karterchristiansen13. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 3 years old on a CRF50. I spent most of my time riding trails with my dad and going on camping trips till I was 6 years old. When the 2018 motocross season started I signed up for my first race in Taylor B.C in the Peace Motocross Association circuit. I was 7 years old and that year I only raced 6 of the 9 races, placing 15th overall. 2019 I raced the full 9 race circuit in two 50cc classes. Placing 6th in the 50cc 7-9 and 6th in 50cc open. I also raced the last three races on an old KX 65, placing top 10 in a few races. When 2020 came around my dad decided to retire the old KX and get me on a used 2018 YZ 65. It was a great move and it landed me on the Redline Powercraft racing team, a local dealership who loves supporting local riders. The YZ was a friends bike who I raced with, He moved up to an 85cc. I spent most of the summer at the track on that but I still loved blasting around on my 50cc with my little sister. She managed to pick up a sponsorship from the same local dealership Redline Powercraft. Only they provided her with a full 50cc bike and gear for the year. I was a bit jealous but super excited to be able to race with her. Having her own bike allowed me to compete in some 50cc events along her side....well maybe a bit in front ;) Our local 2020 PMA circuit was cancelled due to COVID, but the Alberta Dirt Riders Association held a 4 race mini series. I went to 2 of them, both in Blueridge, Alberta. I raced hard those weekends and got a 3rd in the 50cc open and 5th in the 65cc class. Placing top 3 for the first time on my 50cc really built up my confidence for my 65cc races. Now 2020 has almost come to a close I am officially done with auto clutches! Bring on 2021, BRAAAAP!
