Personal History

I got my first bike December 26, 2011. I would ride it with mom and dad's help around our yard. My first track experience was at Fox Valley in Ottawa, Illinois. My first race was at Joliet Motorsport Park in Wilmington, Il. The first few races I wanted to see if I liked racing instead of just riding around for fun. I loved it! Even though I had a lot I needed to work on, I persevered. Sportsmanship is very important to me. I always tell everyone good race and and high five everyone. After my first three races, my parents decided I liked it enough to actually get me a race bike.  They got me a KTM50 Sr.  Thry didn't think I was quiet ready for all of the power so we put the reduction kit in it. So I could learn more about it and get fundamentals learned, I received a few days of personal training from Brad in Byron, IL. I learned so much about leg placement, where to sit, braking, cornering, standing, accelerating.  It definitely paid off. I went from being lapped by everyone to getting 2nd and 3rd place in my wobbler class! It was so exciting. After a few more races everything trust started clicking. I got to taste what first place felt like for a few laps, and now I keep working really hard to get better and better so I can keep getting that feeling over and over.
