Personal History

Where to start.....my brothers got me into riding for fun. It didnt matter if it was a dirt bike or a four wheeler, we rode it. Then they entered their first race in 2000 and I was hooked. I wanted to race so bad but didnt have the best equipment. I had a wore out 83 YZ 80 that i was to big for. Then in early 2002 my brother jon got a new KX 125 and i took over his 98 YZ 125. I rode it every day i could to get the feel for the bigger bike and the power. In May of 2003 I entered my first race. While everybody else I know had 1st race jitters, I didnt. I was so excited to be on the starting line. I didnt care if I got first or last, I was there to just race and have fun. In January of 2004 we went to an awards banquet for our district because Jon won the 125 C class. When I the trophy and the championship plate I had a new goal. I wanted to be the Womens champ in our district. 2004 was not the best racing for me. I got 3rd overall, but I still wanted that championship. In 2005 at our first district race I took first place in the muddiest, sloppiest race id ever been in and never looked back. I held the points lead all year and that championship was mine. In 06-09 working to pay bills and for a car got in the way of racing. In late 08 I bought a 07 KX 250F and i love it. The power is there when u need and it reopened my eyes to racing. My family also owns a race track called Greene Acres Moto Park a.k.a. GAMP.

After being out of the racing scene for almost 10 years now, I'm hoping to slowly get back into it. Not as a complete full time racer but as a part time racer and rider. I graduated from SWIC in Belleville, IL this past spring as a Radiologic Technologist and being busy with that job is going to be hard to be a full time racer, but I'll be sure to make the most of it every time I can throw my leg over a bike. It's still in my blood and I'm sure always will be.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2015 are to just make the most of being able to throw a leg over a dirt bike and have fun!!!! My youngest sister is now racing, so my other goal would try to be able to teach her as much as possible everything I know and be able to push her to be better than I was in my prime.

Competitive Highlights

In 2005, I was the District 18 Womens class champion, Splinter Creek track champion and the B. E. T. track champion.

In 2006 i raced at the Ponca City National. I was still recovering from a shoulder injury I had suffered just a couple weeks prior to the race. That had a major effect on my results. I finished 14th overall. In 2007 i raced at the Branson National and in the first moto i went down and reinjured the shoulder that caused problems the year before. 2009 proved to be a horrible year for the Branson National as it was a massive flood. So between the flood and work, going back to Branson in November to rerace the flood out didnt happen.
