Personal History
Parents and friends saw Kārlis is talanted on motorcycle since 4-5 years old. There is no need to push Kārlis to train, he is motivated to train both his riding and physical abilities. In 2013 Lauris Freibergs was Kārlis' coach on mx tracks, but from 2014 Kārlis started training in Augusts Justs training school. His work with coach is not only about being on-track, but also about sharing Augusts' personal professional experience of day-to-day healtcare, time management and healthy food. Now Kārlis is studying at Krimuldas school, class 5a. He is also very good at his studies and ot grades ranging 8-10 (10 is a maximum grade) when finishing class 4 last year despite he has to miss some classes due to trainings and MX events abroad. Kārlis started to attend swimming classes from the age of 7 to strengthen his stamina, and has even been awarded. During summer season he combines mx work-outs with cardio bicycle rides around his native town Krimulda surrondings. He cooperates with one of the best local phisical coaches, Andrejs Vaivods, who is known for his intense physical programs developed specially for moto riders. Kārlis gets on well with both kids and adults. All coaches who have ever worked with Kārlis highlight his serious attitude towards what he is doing, persistence and dexterity.
Riding Goals
Move from MX65 to MX85 and take part in Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian & Europian championships and German ADAC MX series. Goals – reach TOP 3 in the Baltic region, reach TOP 10 in Europe.
Competitive Highlights
Year 2012 - 7th place in MX50 Latvian Championship overall standings,
6th place in MX50 Estonian Championship overall standings, lost only to those riders who were older and more experienced.
Year 2013 – Being just 7 years old Kārlis becomes triple MX50 champion –

Year 2015 - Kārlis switches to MX65 and participates in Latvian, Lithuanian and Netherland Championships.

During his first MX65 season Kārlis makes a huge progress from finishing 7th in round 1 of Latvian Championship to winning the final round! The struggle ended at 3rd position overall in Latvian Championship, 4th position in Lithuanian Championship. Kārlis was always among top 6 when participating in Holland Chempionship, however he missed some events. In the beginning of October Kārlis announced one of the Latvian Junior MX of Nations team member.
