Personal History
I have lived in Winnsboro, Louisiana all of my life. I am seventeen years old, and a Freshman at Louisiana Delta Community College. I am currently 5' 8 and weigh 120 pounds. When I am not racing I love to spend time with my family and friends. I like to ride my bicycle, run, and listen to music. I spend a lot of time with the youth at First Baptist Church Crowville. I make a lot of sacrifices to be able to race motocross. I may not get to race every weekend, but I practice every chance I can get.
Riding Goals
I will be training harder to increase my endurance and speed. I will also be worker harder on bringing in better results. Next year I plan on riding classes other than women and making it to more races. I would like to make it back to Loretta Lynn’s and to Ponca City. My dreams are to put all of this hard work to use and get my professional license. Dooing this will not be very easy, because of the money it costs to race, but it is my dream and I will do whatever it takes.
Competitive Highlights
I got my first dirt bike when I was six years old. It was a 1998 Honda XR70. My brother is the main reason I started racing. A year after he started, I was finally talked into doing my first race. It was at our local track and I was thirteen on a KLX 125. I was hooked. Soon after my first race, my dad bought me a RM 85. I am now on a 2009 Yz250F and race in the women class. My first year of racing in 2007 I made it to Ponca City in the girls class and finished 9th in the first moto and 10th the second which got me a 5th place overall. The next year I went back and finished 4th in the first moto and 5th the second it ended up 5th place overall in the girl’s class. Making it to Loretta Lynn’s was also a big accomplishment. I had knee surgery in January 2011 and wasn’t able to ride for five months so the year of 2011 was not very successful. In 2012 I had a pretty successful year with training and racing and had some better results. I placed sixth overall at Ponca City Grand National with two good motos and one bad one.
