Personal History
My name is Karl Mann I'm 18 years old, I started riding when I was about 5 years old on my CRF50. Never took the sport to seriously until about 3 years ago when I started going to practice tracks and entered in a couple races. My father and I ride at our track 3-4 times a week doing 10 minute motos +2 laps. Right now I currently race 250 C and Open C on my 2009 Suzuki RMZ250. I like to have a good time joking around with friends and talking to new people at the track but as soon as I throw the leg over the bike and the gates about to drop it's game time.
Riding Goals
For this year my goal is to finish Evansville's Ultra Series in the top 3 in both 250 C and Open C, I'm currently in 2nd position in both classes and down 10 points in 250 C and down 31 points in Open C with only 3 rounds left to go in the series.
For next year we are going to attempt to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. We are still deciding whether or not to run the Mainline Series next year or race a different track every weekend to help myself get faster and gain more knowledge to help qualify for Loretta's.
Competitive Highlights
Last year I raced 250 D and Open D and won both classes at Evansville's Ultra Series scoring 291 points in 250 D and scoring 272 points in Open D. I wrapped up the championship with 2 races to go and jumped up to the C classes and finished 2nd in a 250 C race and 5th in an Open C race.
This year my goal was to get and overall in the C classes which I have 2 now, and to get a top 3 in both classes which I am currently still holding on to.
