Personal History
My name is Karl Cooper I live in a rural farming community with a population of 300. I am in second grade and I go to the Oakesdale School.
I began my motorcycle career at the age of 2 1/2. I started riding on a Polaris 50 four wheeler. Once I was able to ride my bicycle without training wheels my dad bought me a Yamaha TTR50. I roade that for about 1 year before my dad bought me a KTM Pro Senior 50. I started my racing career at the age of 6. I finished my first outdoor series with a 3rd place overall for the series.
I will race the 2014 season on my KTM 50. I will be racing the 7-8 year old bracket as well as the 50 open class. I will also be racing the Supercross Nights Series.
Riding Goals
To continue to improve on 50 cc bike to prepare myself for the 65 cc class. My goal is to place in the top 3 for the outdoor and supercross series. I continue to improve and feel I am prepared to win the overall for the series.
Competitive Highlights
My first race of my career I placed first in both motos to take the overall. I have had many ups and downs include crashes that I thought were going to put out of a podium spot. I was able to fight my way back to the front of the class to salvage a top 3 position.
