Personal History
My name is Kamdin Hanson, I'm 12 years old and I'm in 7th grade at St. Francis middle school. My family and I are all very close and we do alot together. I'm very outgoing and like to try new things. I love being active and love everything outdoors. I enjoy going to the skate park in the summer and riding my BMX bike and scooter. Motto is my true passion. My friends and I like building dirt tracks in my yard so we can play motto with my toy dirt bikes. I've been riding ever since my parents would let me, my dad even built me a small track so I can ride right in our backyard. Riding has always been my passion and I have always loved going fast. My mom says I'm fearless and it really scares her. In 2019 I became timider after my uncle passed away in a tragic atv accident. The accident affected me and my family and i stopped riding tell 2022 cause my family was scared. Having to deal with a tragedy like that has made my anxiety and fear grow but i try my hardest to go out and ride my hardest and but my fears and anxiety behind me and push myself to be the best. My biggest goal in 2025 was to get out on the track, do my best and try to overcome that fear and put my anxiety behind me so I can ride like I did before his accident.
Riding Goals
My goal this year is to Improve as much as I possibly can. I'm going to push myself to the max because when I'm older I'd like to be a Pro rider.
Competitive Highlights
In 2022 I started my first year racing competitively and over the season I learned so much and was able to improve my skills. For the 2022 race season I raced for ARMCA District 23. In my 65cc 7-9 class I finished 16th out of 104 other riders and in my 65cc 7-11 class I finished 22nd out of 128 other riders. I worked on putting my fear behind me and tried to focus on just doing the best I could. I was able to make it to every race except for 1 because I had crashed during a race and broke my elbow but I was out riding again the following weekend! I got my first trophy and plan to get more this year!
