Personal History

My name is Kali and I have been racing motocross for 2 years now. I started last year, first in a night series and then moving on to district tracks. During my first year my mom was diagnosed with leukemia and spent two months in the hospital. She told me her goal for me was to finish out the night series and work hard. I ended up completing every race during series and won the overall in the 4-8 air cooled class as well as the 4-6 open class. My mom is still battling her leukemia and will be going back to the hospital soon for a stem cell transplant. She told me she wants me to focus on school and riding. I love to ride my dirt bike and I ride for my mom.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year are to run enough district races to qualify for points in both District 13 and District 29. I hope to place in top in both districts in the air cooled class as well as the 4-6 open class. I also want to defend my championship in the night series I won last year.

Competitive Highlights

In my first year of racing I won championships in two different classes in the night series I ran. This year I made my first attempt to qualify for the Lorretta Lynn Regionals in which I qualified in two different classes. I didn't make it past the regionals but for my first try I think I did pretty good.
