Personal History
I first started riding on a quad when I was the age of 4. Then I started to move to dirt bikes like the 50, 70, 85 and now 150. I am currently 13 years old and have been riding for about 9 years but have been racing for about 3 years. I race with a state series called AMRA and have been racing with them for the past 3 years. I am also a part of a club called XMC in AMRA that I am very proud to be in. I ride most of the time on the weekends with my brother, who just graduated, and my father, who both race AMRA with me. Although, my mother and sister, plus her family, cheer me on and support me all they can! I am very high in academics and am keeping a 4.0 right now. I am also doing summer school for a Geometry Honors class early. Along with riding I also play softball. I’ve also been playing softball since I was for and played for my school team this year and is currently on a 14-U club team as a main pitcher.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are not only to get better and increase my skills but to inspire. I am trying to get faster and more agile as much as I can and it just makes me happy. I love riding and it’s what I do. I feel like I can always increase my abilities. I love the challenge riding gives me, it makes me push myself harder to accomplish things. I notice not a lot of girls take part in this sport and I really want to inspire many people and show young girls it’s a women’s sport too. I hope to become a professional rider someday where I can be known for what I do and be known as a women rider.
Competitive Highlights
In 2014, I started racing and raced the 85c class in AMRA. I achieved 4th overall in the championship. In 2015, I raced the same class and achieved 2nd overall in the championship. My greatest accomplishment was this year when I moved up to the Women’s class in big bikes. I got 1st overall in the championship, earned a #1W plate, and increased my endurance and ability tremendously.
