With the year coming to an end I have well surpassed my goal of a top twenty ranking in the Desert series. I worked my way up to 11th overall Vets. Out of 296, and 4th in class. Only missing the #10 overall, and 3rd in class position by 40 points. All in all it was a great year of racing for me. I competed in my first National level Hare and Hound, which I placed 4th. I managed to stay healthy the entire season, and made alot of great new friends.
For the 2008 season I am going to contest the District 37 Desert series along with the Best of the West points series as well. Where I will be defending my #11 plate and shooting for a top 5 overall position, and a transfer into the Expert class. I want to thank everybody that helped me along the way. My family, Devils of the Desert M/C, my pit crew, and the clubs that I guest pitted with. I also want to thank my sponsors that helped out this season. I hope we can continue to work together and expand our relationship. Thanks everybody! See you on the line in Jan!

The mid season point standings are out. Out of 296 Vet racers I am currently 15th overall. Out of 49 Vet Open Intermediate I am currently ranked 4th overall. This year has been an amazing success to me. I want to thank everybody that has helped me out, and supported me. It seems I have already surpassed my goal of earning a top twenty number for the year so it's time to up my goal for a top ten number. I look forward to the remainder of the racing and getting my sponsors name out there. Thanks again.

Sat. morning I got up early to sign up and go check out the Bomb run. Both A, and B courses use the same banner truck to start. I knew the dust was going to be really bad. I was set to race the A course on Sat. and B on Sun. Well I had gotten mixed up and only practiced the Bcourse bomb run. I didn't realize until it was too late to go back and try out the A bomb. Oh well another blind bomb run. I got to the start line about 40 min before banner drop. I knew nothing about what was out there so I picked a spot near the far right side of the line. Now the wait. I was lined up next to a Vet 250 Exp. The start was a dead engine, rider straddling the front tire facing the banner truck behind the bikes. BAnner dropped and around I went. Bike fired first kick and I was off. The 250 Exp next to me left just a hair before me and was taking my line. I got right on his rear fender to stay out of his dust, and we were up into 4th gear. Then his exhaust started blowing 2 stroke oil all over my goggles, so I had to back off not knowing what hazards were out there. Once I got a tear-off pulled I was back on it. I was around top 20 to the bomb, so I had my work cut out for me. I settled into a good fast pace and began working my way throug riders. About halfway through loop 1 I came up the guy that I have been battling positions for in the last two races. He was battling with someone up ahead. I took advantage of this and trailed them for about a 1/4 mi. then I saw mu chance as we came to the end of a sandwash the course went hard right. As they were coming in hot they had to take the turn a little wide, and I shot right up the inside passing both at once. But as soon as I got through the turn I hit some rocks buried in the sand and swapped sending me over the bars. My first crash ever in a race. They both got by again.Once I got going again I figured I would just salvage a finish, but about a 1/2 mile up ahead was some real rocky technical stuff that I ride really well in. I was
