Personal History
I am a 32 Year Old Dad and Husband. I have 2 kids. One is 1 year old, and one is 5 years old. Both enjoy motocross and watching their dad ride and hanging out at the track. My 5 year old has recently started riding a stacyc and plans on racing it this coming up season when available as he works towards being ready for a 50. I work a full time job for an agricultural company helping farmers. I started riding after my dad started back last year at the age of 56. My first dirt bike was a KLX110 pit bike in August of 2023, and then a 2013 RMZ-250 in November of 2023. I started racing in February of 2024, and shortly after sold the RMZ-250 and bought a 2024 KX450. Me and my family spend weekends at the track whenever we can, with my wife supporting me and pushing me competitively at the races as well. Me and my wife have been married for 10 years now and are happy as our family has grown and the kids are starting to take interest in whats going on. I am very competitive in riding and racing, and constantly wanting to get better at whatever I do. I started out as a heavy rider at 280+ lbs. Wanting to get faster, and be healthier and in better shape for racing so I can compete, I started eating better, being more physically active, and working out almost daily. Since September of 2023 I have gone from 281 lbs to 209 as of the beginning of March of 2025. As my fitness has gotten better, so has my racing and placements, as well as a much better overall lifestyle. I truly feel that without motocross, my health would be worse.
Riding Goals
Being able to race with my 56 year old dad is my favorite thing. He stopped racing for 35 years and started again last year, and that's when I started. Enjoying time together as a family at the track is my favorite thing to do.
As I started riding, my health and fitness, and my lifestyle greatly improved. But as I started racing, my competitiveness has kicked in and I constantly work on technique as well as my fitness to be able to push harder and compete longer. My main goal of continuing to ride is to keep improving my fitness and health for a longer life and to be able to enjoy more activities with my kids.
As I continue to progress as a rider, my goals and determinations have gotten bigger. I finished out 2024 finishing out points series in local series on the podium and 1st place in 25/30+ Amateur in the Coastal Carolina MX Series and 2nd overall in points in Pit Bike Open at my local pit bike series.
In 2025, I have continued racing 25+ and 30+ classes whenever I can, as well as running Unlimited C/D with District 13 series. I am currently 2nd overall in points in 30+ Amateur and 4th overall in points in Unlimited C/D. I have been getting closer to podiums in both classes, and took a 3rd overall at Budds Creek out of 10 which was a big win in my goals and progression.
I have a longer term goal to make it to Loretta Lynn's by the time I am 35. Although it is a big goal, I am more determined than ever to work towards this goal.
I have been active over the last 6 months on instagram and facebook social media and always make sure to shout out anyone who supports me and show off their products. I take pride in having a clean and very presentable bike every practice and race weekend and always try to push friends and other riders to the products that I use and love from my sponsors.
