Personal History
HI, my name is Justin Pasternak. I am 17 years old and I live in New Jersey. So I have been around bikes and quads pretty much all my life. My dad started me out young and I have gown a passion for it. My first ever bike was a little Eton 50cc 2-stroke quad and I was about 4 when I got that Over the years I have been upgrading from one size quad to another size quad and over time I have just got bored of then. So when I was about 12 years old, I got my first dirt bike. It was a 2001 Yamaha Yz80 2-stroke. I had that bike for about 2 years and I started wanting more, I wanted more torque, I wanted more power, I wanted more engine. I started craving a bigger bike and after 2 years of riding my Yz, I upgraded to my Kawasaki. It is a 2011 Kx250F, It is Fuel Injected. This fuel injection system has made a big difference on 4-strokes for me. The throttle is so much more responsive and its quite snappy. It just makes it feel like the bike has more to offer for the rider. So over time I have been riding this bike a lot and I have grown to know this bike like the back of my hand. This bike has become a part of me. I know it inside and out. There are special bonds between bikes and their riders, each and every rider has that bond between them and their bike. I wouldn't trade this bike for anything, but soon I will be looking for bigger after I master this bike. So there's a little bit about me and my life.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to keep pushing myself harder and harder each time I get on my bike. I want to push myself past my limits to see how far I can go and take riding to a whole other level. I have made very good progress from the time to I started to where I am right now. I will push myself past my limits every time I ride. I will get better each time and I will get faster. In the up coming year I will hope to start racing and do all I can to be successful.
Competitive Highlights
So this for the past two seasons its been a tricky one. I havent competed much in anything honestly due to an eye injury. So for two seasons the doc has told me to sit out so I had very little seat time and could only limit myself to practice sessions. But this year, I came back and entered a few local races to regain my bearing and decided to enter the D2MX Championship points series which consists of 12 different races taking part in 3 different states. Currently we are 4 races in, so im hoping for the best and will push myslef to my limits and hopefully get the results I want to achieve. There is also a Wildwood Beach Race that I may possibly be entering just to get the seat time I missed out on.
