Personal History
I am a 19 year old Freshman at South Florida Community College. I graduated high school from Hardee High School with a 3.5 GPA. I started racing at age 10 on a KX 65 at Dade City Motocross. At the end of my 65 era I received my YZ85’s at age 12. I kept 1 stock and moded the other into a super mini. I ran for points the following year at Dade City in the age group class and the super mini class. I also ran the Loretta Lynn’s qualifier but a broken leg set me back. At age 14 I received my 1st YZ125 2 days before we left for the Ponca City Grand Nationals in Oklahoma. I ran the age group 85 stock and mod classes also the 125 C novice class. After returning from Ponca I focused on the super mini class and the 125 C class at Dade City. At age 15 my parents and I decided to travel a little running the Gold Cup and the Winter AM series. I also ran the Loretta’s qualifier races. This is where I realized how good the competition was. In 2007, now at age 16, I received my 4 stroke bike (YZ250F). We decided to run Dade City for points again. I started the year off in the 125 C, And the School Boy classes. I also ran the Loretta’s qualifier. At the Seminole Tribe Motocross Park is where I finally qualified for Regional’s in the 125 youth 2 stroke only class to be held in Tennessee. I finished decent at Tennessee a crash in the 2nd moto shattered my dreams. We then decided to take the Ponca trip once again. I entered in the 125 Novice Stock and Mod classes also the 125 Youth 2 Stroke only class. The mod class didn’t go so well. I was 1 position out of the main in the youth class. And in the stock class I needed 2 positions better. After returning from Ponca I ran the remainder of the season in the 125 B class. At the end of the points series I had worked my way up to 4th place in the Schoolboy class out of 44 different racers. And in the 125 class I worked my way up to 6th place out of 191 different racers. In 2008 I ran the Florida MX Series I finished 1st in the schoolboy class, 2nd in the 125/250B class and 3rd in the 125 open class. In 2009 I ran the same series only running 1 class so i could focus on my sr. year in high school. I finished 2nd in the 16-24 school boy class. I recently purchased a 2010 KX450f from Kissimmee Motorsports and received sponsorship through them for the 2010 season.
Riding Goals
The main goal that I have set for myself is qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s Championships. It is a dream that I have had since the first race I ran. And besides that is the best place to promote my sponsors to show them how greatly I appreciate what they have done for me. I plan on racing the Florida Mx Series in the 250/450B class and the 16-25 schoolboy class. I also plan on running the Loretta Lynn Southeast Area Qualifiers in the Motocross B stock and mod classes and the schoolboy class. I practice daily at my home track and every Thursday night at Bartow.
