Personal History

I grew up riding trails with my Dad. He was a regional motocross champion back in the late 70's early 80's. Unfortunately due to his work schedule, we were never able to race when I was young. It wasn't until I was out on my own at the age of 27 that I was able to finally get to compete as I had always dreamed of. The reason I was able to due so was due to the success of my YouTube channel called Bike N' Bird. The channel started off as a Harley focused build channel where I would take stock Harleys, and show the process of turning them into a one of kind bike while doing about 95% of the work out of my garage. To my surprise, the channel quickly gained popularity, eclipsing 45,000 subscribers in just a few years. Throughout those years I was able to broaden the channel a bit to include dirt bikes. I had always wanted to race Hare Scrambles so after some time on google, I settled on racing the Texas Off-Road Championship Series, better known as TORCS. I instantly fell in love with not only the format, but the environment. Completely different from anything I had ever experienced. Within a couple of races, I felt like I was part of the family. After documenting only a few races, the people coming up to me and telling me that they had either gotten back into dirt bikes, or were trying out for the first time because of my videos started to trickle in. Fast forward about a year and now TORCS is breaking attendance records by huge jumps.

Riding Goals

I just want to be competitive. Getting into racing has taught me that I've got a long way to go. But I grew up in sports. I know how to train. I know how to win.

Competitive Highlights

I received multiple top 10 finishes during the 2020 season and was 5th in the championship when I broke my back and missed the last 4 races of the year. The rider I was 1 point ahead of prior to the crash ended up taking 3rd in the series.
