Personal History
Hello my name is JUAN PABLO RODRIGUEZ RAMIREZ.
I am 23 years old and was born in Queretaro, Mexico. I have been riding my for a long time, I think Ive been doing it for almost 10 years now. I truelly enjoy riding, it makes me happy.
I think its important for all of us to raise the bar, and in the past few years I think I have raised the bar for everyone to be a better rider.
Since 2007 I have been building Loco Land, its my sport, my park, my compound, but its more than that, its my personal space and I want to share it with the world. I've spent a lot of time, money and effort there. Over time I've been improving and I gradually been transformed it into an excellent spot to ride. All this came together because here in Mexico unfortunately there is no support for the motocross community and my dad supported me with a space to keep practicing and over the years I was able to build it slowly. It has a unique fmx oval and a supercross type track.
I raced the regional level, in my area, nationals for several years
I stoped racing because I started jumping metal ramps and I slowly turned my career and devote to freestyle and here is not a very common sport here.
The freestyle community in Mexico is small and we know each other and we have practiced in other compounds all over Mexico, there are less than 20 riders here. I´m lucky to say that Im one of those riders few riders.
When I dedicated myself to freestyle, I shared it with a friend is actually my teammate. Fortunately we had good chances and we could jump in several places here in Mexico in which we have participated in shows and jumped with Chuck Carothers, Greg Hartman, Dustin Nowak and few other american riders.
Im trying to make a difference in the world I want people to enoy what only motorcycles have given me. I think over the years the motocross atmosphere have left many positive things in my life and I want to share it.
I want to improve but not being selfish, I would like to help others to learn and improve and step up their game.
Unfortunately I think we've earned a certain bad stereotype, but in reality us mexicans at lease myself Im not like that, in Mexico there is everything as in any other country, I think the world has a misconception of us and Im trying to make and effort to prove they are wrong and that we, specialy me and my teammate, we can be as good as we wanted to be.
I want to be a promoter of my country, I want to help my friends, my community and others. Fortunately I think I chose a sport that I'm good at and which I practice at least 3 times a week, anyone riding a bike has felt the sense of freedom it gives you jump and I think that Im addicted to it.
Being honest, motocross is expensive and risky sport, but somehow we manage to still practice, but it is also very difficult for me as a rider to buy things that I have to pay out taxes that makes it more expensive. I mean its hard to buy stuff online, becausee of the shipping, because most of the stores can´t ship to mexico and sometimes its hard for us to find pieces or equipment we need.
Actually that’s the reason Im writing to you, as I mention earlier theres is no support in mexico and Im trying to get help. Right now Im filming the first mexican documentary about motocross and freestyle motocross culture in Mexico. In which I want to share with the world the fmx scene in mexico specifically in Queretaro. The plan is to continue filming and to show in the video that there is also talent here. I mean the world has a bad image of mexicans, I belive that we can show to the world that we are not like that. I don’t want to make a mediocre video Ive been a fan of the sport and I have watched a lot of videos so I have the visualization and exacttly what I want.

I don’t want you guys to think Im a random guy that wants only a sponsorship, I just finished university and Im only doing this because I really belive I can make a difference and I want to share it with the world.
