Personal History

I started racing when I was 13 years old.  My first bike was a 1995 Honda CR80R.  The reason I started racing was because I attended a motocross race at Muddy Creek raceway in Blountville, Tennessee.  I thought that it was an exciting sport, and I told my father that I would like to try racing. So my life long passion began.  My first race was at the very same track that I attended years earlier.

My first race was very nerve racking.  I had some major butterflies, and I successfully finished the race, which was my goal. Although my results were not well, I came away with a lot of pride and a feeling of accomplishment.  Races, and years following I began to progress in skill level and speed.  In 1998 I won my very first championship, in the 85cc 14-15 year old division.  In 1999 I had to move up to a biger bike due to my height.  In the years coming I began to progress more and more skill and knowledge of the sport.  All of this has got me to where I am at today, in the Expert or “A” Class.

Outside of the racing atmosphere, I am an artist.  I like photography and capturing the world at a snap.  I am also an aspiring graphic designer, looking to make his mark in the motor sports industry, particularly in the motocross or supercross industry.  I want to help the sport and watch it grow bigger and better than ever.  I am also a custom airbrush artist.  I custom paint anything but I specialize in custom helmet painting.  I am a recent graduate of East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media.  I have accomplished many of my goals in life and I do not plan on stopping now.  I am a Christian who attends church every Sunday, that I do not have a race, and the weekends I have a race I attend the morning worship service at the track.  I also like to be around kids and help them with anything they need in life.

Riding Goals

My  Goals for the 2012 racing season is to become a better rider, train harder, stay healthy, and win an amateur national championship.  I would like to win a national championship at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals.  In 2013 I would like to become a professional racer, and attend a few major pro events throughout the United states.
