Personal History
My name is Joshua Tetuan. I am now 32 years old. I had been without a dirtbike for the last 4 years. My boss encouraged me to ride again and purchased me my 09 Yz250F after a full season with the JDay Offroad 2015 series I currently own the new 2016 YZ250 . Prior to owning this bike I had not competed for almost 7 years. I was riding Pilgrim Sands short course, and some NETRA events. I have recently married my beautiful wife Lisa aka Sponsored by wifey, and two girls Alexis and Aliyah whom are both heavily involved in soccer.
Lisa encourages me to race, and enjoys waching the JDAY events. I am a Mechanic/Fabricator for a two man shop in Massachusetts named Dominator Diesel. Bet you can guess what we specialize in. I have recently involved my boss in JDAY. We litterally just finished building a practice track at my boss farm in Somerset ma.
I do my best to eat right and keep working out to build my cardio. Im currently 6'0 193lbs. My first day on the bike riding in the freetown state forest I was 217lbs. Im dedicated to this and will be doing my best to make the gym 3 days a week or more.
Riding Goals
I hope to remain competetive for the entire eason of JDAY for 2015. I am much more comfortable on my bike conquering the KTM Extreme sections more fluidly. I would like to practice more jumping this winter and be faster in the flat track sections. Some other goals would be more consistent lap times and more top 10 finishes. Season closer was at SouthWick MX338 there were 53 guys on my line and I finished 17th overall. Im happy with that as it was only my fifth race back in competition.
I will be sending my forks out and hopefully my rear shock to Factory Connection to have it revalved for the 2015 season. This will make a drastic difference for much energy will be conserved. I will be more consistent and hopefully further up front with some small changes.
Bvet seems very achievable with some dilligence and perserverence.
Competitive Highlights
I had a really great year finishing in the top 5 C-Vet this season. Best thing going for me is this new 2016 yz 250 I just recently purchased I always finished in good shape no broken bike or body parts and in the top 10. I met some really great mentors this year that help me press forward this year. I'm looking in to training in the off season and moving up to B-Vet for the 2016 JDayOffroad season.
Best Regards
