Personal History

Grew  up riding dirtbikes most of my life since i was 5. Once I was finally introduced to my first MX race I was hooked at the age of 15. Raced on and off ever since, and mainly raced in B classes. Now i have 2 kids getting into the sport and we decided to race a bit more this year in 2023. I ended up taking 2nd overall for the Northern series, as well as 2nd overall for the district. Had so much fun and plan to hit it harder next year with the family!

Riding Goals

I just love the rush of riding MX and being competitive! When you clear your mind and race, its all about what you can do to beat the others, and how far your willing to push yourself. I raced more this year than i have for a while with finishing 2nd overall for the district and the northern series. The only reason I didn't win the district this year is I couldn't afford to hit more races with the family. My worst finish was 4th overall, but many 1st and seconds overall. Just love the sport and meeting people just like you that are into the same hobbies! I also started racing mountain bikes, which is another adrenaline addictive sport, but great conditioning for MX!! I upgraded to a new KX450SR for 2024, that I just purchased brand new. I had a 2022 kx450 that I must say has been my most favorite bike I've had over racing and riding for 30 plus years. I plan to drop another 15 lbs as I lost 23 last year, and up my game for 2024.

Competitive Highlights

I pretty much talked about them in my other two descriptions, but I put my head down and came out on top most of my races this year. Too many races yet where I would get into the lead to only get arm pump and fade back to second or 3rd again! Started riding and racing mountain bikes, which has really started helping out. On top of that I have been playing with suspension adjustments more than ever, which obviously is a game changer when dialed in. Major accomplishments besides just taking 2nd overall for the year though would be meeting great people, and getting great support from the people i have met. Its becoming a huge moto family with all the people and racers that i meet and complete with. Something that you dont always get in other sports that my kids are into.  I achieved a goal of finsihing overall better than expected for the year, but i know i can do better.
