Personal History
Hello,
My name is Gabriel Osterman. I am a fourteen yr. old, straight A student who attends the 8th grade at Monroe County Middle School in Tompkinsville, Ky. I am extremely outgoing, a quick learner, and well mannered. I am the oldest of two siblings; Emberly (9) and Ashton (5). My mom is Ali Osterman, and my dad is Josh Geralds. I have the best parents a child could ever ask for!
I love riding and working on ATV’s anytime that I have the opportunity. I do research on how to fix issues when I come across them, while also seeking advice and help from others when I cannot figure out a solution.
Riding Goals
I feel as if riding is not just a hobby for me. But it has become a way of life. I have learned so many things through riding/competing such as; how to think on my toes, how to hold your head up in victory and defeat, and what it looks like to give it everything you have and leave it all on track.
This year my goal is to get better and finish out this MSXC season strong. I hope to have more seat time and practice a lot more as I continue my growth as a rider. Riding is something that always puts a smile on my face, and I do not plan to stop anytime soon.
Competitive Highlights
My first cross country race was in mid-October of 2023. While that was only a few months ago, I feel as if I have grown as a competitor and accomplished several things since then. I won 1st place in my second race in November and 3rd place in the most recent race in January. I also took the award of “Hole Shot” in the first two races and feel like I could have accomplished that in all three. But I had to start backwards this last race due to an atv issue.
I know I still have so much to learn but, I get excited thinking about becoming better and being able to compete on the next level.
