Personal History
My names Josh, I’m from a lower middle class family here in central Iowa and I eat, sleep, breath motorcycles.
It didn’t always used to be this way, unfortunately…
im a recovering addict and single father of 2, motocross is the way I spend my time if I’m not with my kids. I’ve been a single father at 26yrs old for the past 3 years… I have a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter that I absolutely adore.
Before they were born I was in active addiction spent my time in jails and eventually prison and engines &bikes have been the way I’ve maintained and managed to stay out of trouble.
My goal is to spread awareness for single fathers in the system that there is hope and to not give up. The family court system is unjust and cruel… I hope by racing and getting sponsors to compete that maybe another addict or single father will take up interest in the sport and want to do better for themselves and the ones around them.
I want to thank you for taking the time to read about me and if you have any further questions reach out or even if you just need someone to vent to, I’ll always make the time to listen.
much love & peace- Josh
Riding Goals
I ride out of passion and love for the sport but also in hopes that someone will hear my story and believe in me and my goals to shed light on the family court system and for single fathers all over.
My goals are to race, fast and hard, thru blood sweat and tears even if no one believes in me I’m gonna make it.
I have to, I have my kids relying on me.
Competitive Highlights
I went from drug addiction to jail then eventually on to prison, I’ve been clean the last 3 years with the help of my family and kids as well as my love and passion for this sport.
