Personal History
I started riding dirtbikes when i was 10 years old and made my debut race when i was 12 years old in the 85cc class.I have very fond memories from this first race that i will cherish forever. I competed in the 85cc Regional and Provincial class for 1 season. I quickly moved up to the 125cc Class in which i also raced both Regional and Provincial classes, here is where i began racing against the 450's with only 14 years of age and also where i got my first taste of podiums. The season to come was a big jump, not only did i begin to race in the 250 4t class, i also got my first taste of riding the spanish championship making my debut in the Sub 18 class with only 15 years of age, i managed some worthy top 10s which got me recognized with the chance of travelling that summer throughout Belgium and Holand with semi pro team 'Mx6D2'.After my first contact with the deep sand of Belgium i came back to spain a much better rider and was able to progress for a year to come switching to Kawasaki and moving up to the Mx2 class Regionally and Provincially. The following summer i returned to the deep sand of Belgium and Holand for two weeks in which i trained on all of the top tracks and managed to come 2nd in a local event in Holand. Shortly after coming back for the second time i sealed 3rd place in the Canary Islands in Mx2 in my second year and the same again in the Tenerife Mx2 championship. In preparation for the 2016 season i suffered an injury to my lower back which lasted over 8 months and have been back on the back for a short period of time. I have now been back on the bike for a few weeks and i am in preparation for a solid 2017 season locals/regionals/Nationals.
Riding Goals
I am currently in preparation for the 2017 season which will begin the month of February. My main priority is my preparation for the Spanish Nationals of Sub 18 as it will be my final season in this class before making the big jump into the Mx2 Class. In preparation for this i will also be racing both the Motocross and Supercross events from the Canary and Tenerife championship across 2017.
Competitive Highlights
My main highlights must be making my debut in Nationals at the age of 15 as it felt to me like jumping in a sea full of sharks instead of the amature level that i was used to riding here.
Making the podium in the sand! For me making a 2nd place in the sand of Holand meant so much to me as i was racing against lots of local riders who were already used to that sort of track.
Finishing 14th overall in my debut season in the Spanish Championship was massive as i was also 1 race under the other riders but yet still fitting in the top half of the table increased my confidence.
And ofcourse my many podiums throughout the Canary Islands keep me motivated and hungry for more!
