Personal History
My name is Joshua Brian Astley , im 16 years old and I come from Tenerife , Spain. I love motocross racing and everything that it envolves. I started riding dirt bikes at the age of 10 and began to compete at the age of 12 , since starting I have gone from riding an old 85cc Yamaha at local tracks to now racing a Tm Fi 250 (2015 Model) at the highest level in Spain. My family and I have dedicated the last 6 years in my life to motocross and we are prepared to dedicate many more to achieve our goals for my future in motocross
Riding Goals
Training
To be strong enough to handle the beast of a machine that I am riding, I am dedicated to 3 days of physical training a week in my own gym , ride mountain bikes at an amateur level for fun as I believe that this helps with the movements on the actual dirt bike and analyse my past training sessions with my Go-pro Camara finding on faults to improve.
On the Dirt bike I train 4 times a week at high intensities with my Dad as my practice bike mechanic and my own trainer who analyses my every move on the bike. I have formed a schedule which allows me to improve with my stamina, with my speed and technicality on the dirt bike.

School Record
I am in Year 12 which means I am in my penultimate year before being able to leave school to go to university if I wanted to do so. I am a “A” grade student as I am told to focus on studying if not there is no Dirt bike to ride, so I keep up with my studies meaning that I get to enjoy my dirt bikes. I incorporate my studies with my schedule keeping me and the family organized .
