Personal History

I am a working professional that currently works in the IT field. I have recently returned to racing motocross again after about an 8 year break. My passion for the sport of motocross has brought me back to my favorite past time. I previously raced 450A from 2004 - 2006 in the East Tennessee area and left the sport for some time off after breaking my ankle in 2006. I was able to finish out the 2006 Volunteer State Championship Series in 1st overall for the year in 450A despite breaking my ankle in June.

Riding Goals

My riding goal to start the summer was just to hit a few local races in hopes of winning my first race by the end of summer. I was able to attain this goal fairly quickly with little riding time and practice.

My riding goals moving forward are to race locally throughout the remainder of 2014 and then hope to start racing regionally in the Mega Series by March 2015. Being prepared to race the Mega Series will take a lot of dedication, preparation, and training throughout the remainder of this year. I would like to attempt to qualify for Loretta Lynn's within the next 2 years in the 30+ B/C class. I also have a long term goal of racing Loretta's in the 35+ class in hopes of finishing within the top 10.

Competitive Highlights

After 8 years off from the sport due to injuries and other life events, I have returned to racing motocross in May 2014 and finished 4th in 30+ class at my first race back at the Volunteer State Championship Series with very little seat time. I returned 2 weeks later at the Volunteer State Championship Series and finished 1st in the 30+ class, which was a huge accomplishment for me in 2014.
