Personal History
I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm shy when I need to be but other than that I'm outgoing. I like to meet new people. I like to hang out with friends and ride anything with a motor, but I love riding dirt bikes. I just started racing motocross midway through the past 07 season. I realized it has it's ups and downs; times to be serious and times for fun. Overall I race motocross because it gives me a feeling like no other.
Riding Goals
I have learned from racing motocross that it requires hard work, and with that hard work you get what you deserve. Some people don't realize how much work goes into motocross and into its training. Motocross affects a person mentally, physically, and it could affect your social life. Every racer's goal is to be at the top of their class and even I would love to be at the top. But in order to get to the top I need to work from the bottom. There are three goals I have set for myself this upcoming year/season. The first goal is to go to as many practices at my local track as possible. I know that if I practice on the track that I race at I'll become better on it. The second goal is to race at a few other local tracks. Practice not only at my home track, but racing at different tracks will help me become a better rider. Also I get to meet new people. The third goal is to apply myself a little better on my bike. I am going to try and be more aggressive in a race, but also make smart decisions. These three goals may help me to increase my skills and improve next season.
Competitive Highlights
Since I've began just half-way through last season I haven't had many competitive highlights. Although I do have a few friends and we race together, seeing who places better than who in a race. Mostly all the time I'm at the top. Sometimes I have good and bad days but no matter what place I get I have fun racing.
