Rider Updates
Hi, I just wanted to put out a 2023 season update. Things started out good, finally got to go riding at the end of April when the snow melted. We had a practice on Saturday, that went good getting the cobwebs dusted off. Sunday for the race it was really windy. I had a good steady first race. The second race first lap the wind caught my front tire off a jump and I lost my balance. My first instinct reaction stupidly stuck my foot down to catch myself. I ended up compression fracturing my heel, which needed surgery. It's been a tough couple of months but things are slowly getting better. I'm hoping I can do some riding maybe August or September. I just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks for all the support! Josh Virnig
