Personal History

I was born in northern BC and then lived on Vancouver island for 7 years. I moved to Quesnel BC in 2000 and started playing hockey. I played cometetive hockey for 6 years and wanted that to be my career, by my last year it wasn't a fun sport anymore and just an annoying job I had to do. I quit playing and started a new life. I've been working in the lumber industry for 8 years now and it's given me the opportunity to live a life I never thought I ever would. I bought a snowmobile in 2005 and fell in love with riding and then in 2014 I bought a 2003 yz250, I had always wanted a dirt bike and absolutely fell in love with the sport. I rode my local track a bunch a started meeting new people that rode motocross all summer, they brought me to new tracks and pushed me to learn and go faster. I bought a new 2017 kx250f this year and too it to my first race, an arenacross race. Had a great experience and can't wait to race more, it brought me back to when I played hockey and gave me that competitive fire I got from hockey but with that fun that I lost.

Riding Goals

My goals for the 2017 season and future is to ride every race of the motocross and arenacross series we have in BC and to steadily keep getting better and make some podiums if not win some races and move up in class in 2018.

Competitive Highlights

Even though there aren't many highlights yet my 2nd place finish in the beginner class of my very first gate drop on a dirt bike is something I'm very proud of. I know there will be many more highlights to come!
