Personal History
I grew up on a farm in Alberta, Canada. Started riding bikes when I was 7. Didn't get along with the horses so much, but anything with a motor and I was in heaven. When I was 14 years old I started racing with the CMA and the CMRC. Raced for 5 years before a few major injuries I decided to take a break. After about 10 year break from racing I decided I needed to get back to what i loved and started racing with the AOTMX in 2014 as a +30 rider. Now I am 40 years old and raced the +40 Vet Intermediate class and my 10 year old raced the 65 class in 2024. The AOTMX is a great family orientated race club and I enjoy spending my time at the track with my wife and 3 kids, camping on race weekends and meeting new friends in the racing community. Volunteering with the track work and anything I can do to lend a hand.
Riding Goals
My goals for 2025 include finishing a strong p[odium at each event, helping other riders, be a positive mentor to the younger riders , promote my sponsors at the races and through social media, display good sportsmanship an success, continue to improve my mental and physical strength and have fun racing and make new memories with my family. I plan to race the full 2025 AOTMX race series in the +40 Intermediate class with my 11 year old son in the 85 class. If I finish in the top 3 at the end of the season I would like to push myself up to the +40 Expert class for 2026.
