My name is Josh Boaz and I race motocross in District 23. This year will be my 4th year racing. I race on KTMs - 2008 Mini Adventure, Pro Senior and 65. When I'm not racing I ride my bicycle on my ramps, snowboard, and play video games.

Competitive Highlights
I began racing 3 years ago when I was 5 (AMA 4). My first bike was a PW50 but I quickly outgrew that bike and moved onto a KTM Mini Adventure.
My first year racing in 2006 I finished with a 4th place overall in Multispeed 4 - 8.
In 2007 I started to get faster and got mostly 2nd and 3rd places in the Multispeed class. Half way through the season I started to race my KTM Pro Junior. 2007 ended with me getting 2nd place in the Millville Super Series, 2nd place in the Kellogg Survivor Series, Class Champion in the Motokazie Series and 3rd place in the District 23 (Minnesota State) Series.
2008 was a great year for me. That year I raced my Pro Junior and my 2008 Mini Adventure and began practicing my Pro Senior and KTM 65. I earned double class champion status in the 4 - 6 premix and the 4 - 8 oil classes for both the district (state of MN) and for the Millville Super Series. I was also crowned class champion for the Kellogg Survivor Series in the 4 - 6 premix class. We qualified for the Loretta Lynn National by getting 1st place at the Millville Area Qualifier in the 4 - 6 class. At the Regional Qualifier I got 5th place in the 1st moto, I won the 2nd moto (sorry Cobra), and I got 22nd in the 3rd moto after my chain fell off (I wasn't happy but we pushed my bike over the finish line). Overall I got 8th place and qualified as an Alternate for Loretta Lynn's. Fortunately, I made it to Loretta's and we made the trip to Tennessee. I finished 23rd overall in my first trip to Loretta's despite crashes in front of me in the first and second motos slowing me down.
This year I'm AMA 7 and having a blast as a first year 7 -8 and 65cc 7 - 9 rider. I can't wait until my older sister lets me race her CR85; what's the age requirement again?
