Personal History
I am Joe Wasson. I am 23 years old. I am living in my home town of Mountain Home, Idaho. I am currently riding the off road 250 Pro Series. I started riding motocross when I was 5, competing around the North West and winning a majority of my races. I quit racing through my teen years and finished school. Started riding again when I was 22 after I got married and started my family I wanted to try again. Coming back to racing I realized my love wasn't just for motocross but also for off road. I bought a bike in March of 2015 and started riding with my buddies again.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to become #1. I plan to show the world my abilities and be at the top of the list! I plan to hit every race this year possible. This year I have hit 16 races, doing 5 different series. I work everyday with a diet plan and personal trainer to keep myself as ready as possible. I keep my body and mind in the best shape possible to keep my race career going!
Competitive Highlights
This last December I spent a month in Arizona training with Destry Abbott, Taylor Roberts, and Gart Sutherlin.. Just to name a few... I worked a month in Destrys DA8 Gym and riding everyday testing my limits, mentally and ability wise. I started racing this year off road in 5 different series. Right now I am standing #1 250 Pro. #5 Overall Pro, only 2 points from becoming #3. I raced the Baja 500 this year and got 5th in our class. And plan on doing the Baja 1000 in November. I plan to work my hardest to be fully sponsored by this next year and have the opportunity to be apart of so many different companies and be the face of what keeps them going. To hold my sportsmanship on and off the race scene.
