Personal History

The first time I ever watched a race and got interested in dirt bikes was when I went to watch my uncle race his quad in 2015. I then almost a week after went and got a 2009 Yamaha TT-R 125. I tried to race it in woods the next year, but soon figured out it was not really set up for it. So my dad went and got me a 2012 Yamaha YZ85 which was a 2013 leftover that was built for woods racing. After having that bike for around a month I decided to race and did not do so well. I only did four races on the 85 my first year racing and seemed to get better by a little bit every race(2015-2016 season). The next season I only raced two races before I switched to another racing series and finished the new series which was Mountain State Hare Scramble. I struggled a lot last year mainly with bike issues and not being able to strive to do better (2016-2017 season). My current season has been rough in some spots because of some bike issues, like on August 5th, I was running 9th overall and my tire went off bead. As well as September 2nd, when I wrecked hard and broke my front brake lever. The YZ85 was also bored to a 112 mid way through this season which really helped me. It was in a way a bad investment since I grew so much that the bike is too small. So next year I'll be on the KTM 200 XC-W.

Competitive Highlights

My highest place in a woods race is 17th overall. Although the highest I have placed in my class is 9th. I have placed 2nd in a local Enduro Cross race, and also placed 2nd in a Motocross race.
