Personal History
My name is Joseph Marburger. I was born in Dallas Texas and have been raised in Mesquite Texas my entire life. I started racing when I was three years old. By the age of six I was hitting all of the large amateur nationals including Loretta Lynns. I did most of the large amateur nationals on 50's winning titles at Ponca City and the World Mini's in Las Vegas. I continued to do the amateur nationals on 60's and took second place two years in a row at Ponca City in 1998 and 1999. I continued to race until 2001 when my parents got a divorce. So I took a break for a while and just rode a little here and there. In about 2004 I decided to take racing seriously again. In 2005 I moved to big bikes full time, but I seemed to keep getting injured. I decided to do the occasional racing here and there. I finished high school in 2007 at the age of 16. The next semester I took some college courses at a community college near my house, but decided that I didn't want to continue school anymore. I started racing again full time again in mid 2008. Now I am working on getting my Pro License by doing Pro-Am events and earning points, and I plan to do as many of the outdoor nationals in 2009 as possible.
