Personal History
Hello, my name is Joe Hockenberry and I am 23. I was born and raised in Hermitage, PA. I am a very dedicated person in what ever I'm involved in. I work at Joy Cone Co. as a maintenance mechanic and have been employed there for over 7 years. I'm also an active volunteer firefighter for Jefferson Township, where I live and have been involved with this for over 2 years. If I'm not at work or the fire station, I'm usually working on my pit bike or practicing for the races. I enjoy going to the races and socializing with my opponents, as well as meeting new people that are getting into the sport of pit bike racing. I've been racing for 5 years. I raced motocross for a year on an atv. I've also raced harescrambles on a KX250 for 2 years. I've also raced motocross for a year on a KTM450SX and now I've been racing pit bikes for 2 years on a Pitster Pro.
Riding Goals
My goals for this up coming year are to move up to the midsize open class to race with a faster level bikes and riders. I'm going to try my hardest to win the points championship for the upcoming race season. I'm going to try and condition a little more and get in better shape.
Competitive Highlights
For starters I won the points championship for 50 open, with lots of hard racing and sometimes riding a little dirty. If I had to push somebody out of the way to get another position I never thought twice.
