Personal History
My name is Jose Quintanilla, I go by a few names, Joe, Jojo, JQ and just Q are a few of them. I love this sport! I'm an avid fan of professional Supercross & Motocross, my favorite racers would have to be The King, Jeremy McGrath, Travis Pastrana and Chad Reed. I enjoy just being on my bike, whether I'm riding at a local spot or racing in front of a crowd, I love every minute of it! I raced a few years back on a RM 125 in the 125 C class and 125 Schoolboy 12-15 class, but after a few years of just riding I got a new 450 and will be running in the Open classes this year and can't wait!!!
Riding Goals
For 2009 my goals are to be a force to reckon with in the Open C class as well as the 14-24 Class. I expect to be in the Top 5 for the Great Lakes Motocross Michigan Mafia Spring/Summer series. I am then looking forward to qualifying for Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals. Depending on my result at Loretta Lynn's I will decide on what Open class I'll be racing at the Great Lakes Motocross Fall Championship. It is going to be a very busy Spring, Summer & Fall, but I am looking forward to every minute of it and giving my sponsors as much POSITIVE attention as I can.
