Personal History
Hi, my name is Jordon Dazzio. I am from Pueblo, Colorado and I am 24 years old. I have raced motocross for a total of 9 years; from ages 5-12, 16-18, and most recently 23-24. Being that I took a break for so long I was nervous that I didn’t have it in me anymore so I went to PMI, a local track. I knew that I was destined to ride at that point on. This year I raced my first supercross race and took a first place right off the bat. Since the day at PMI I have been hitting every single motocross and supercross race in Colorado. I started in the Novice class and marked out; I am now a B rider. Riding is my passion, being fast is a must, and I will go to any length to pursue my dreams in the sport.
Riding Goals
My goals are to become a pro and to one day have my own personal track & company to educate and help new riders learn the obstacles and highlights of the sport. I want to learn new things from the sport and experience new oppotunities along the way to better myself as a rider. I know saying I want to be a pro is cliché but I would love earn me some white plates and be on the starting gate at all the national races!
Competitive Highlights
In Berthoud, CO I battled back and forth for 7 laps with another rider. On the last corner he took the inside while I stayed on the outside; on the gas, throttle wide open, went for the pass and took the overall 1st place.
In Lakewood, CO they were giving $100 for the first moto in every class to whoever took the hole shot. I knew right then and there I needed to achieve that and hold the throttle more than anyone else in my class to accomplish the challenge that was given to me. Needless to say I walked away with $100.
At the season open in Lakewood, CO I didn’t do so well in the morning class and I felt uneasy about racing the afternoon class. I felt down so I went to talk to my friend and he encouraged me to race the afternoon class and not leave empty handed. I accepted the challenge and won the afternoon class.
