Personal History
My name is Faera Remington. I am 8 years old, and I am the oldest of 4 kids. I was born in Rexburg, Idaho, and my parents moved back to Kalispell, Montana when I was 18 months old. I love playing outside, and my favorite activities include family bike rides, tubing or swimming at the lake, climbing trees, and playing on the trampoline with my brother and sisters. I am in the advanced math and reading groups at school, and I love staying up too late reading books.
Riding Goals
My long-term goal is to race in the Supercross. My short-term goal is to race at Washougal next season, so I have been working hard to improve my body positioning, speed, and technique. I am also working on getting more comfortable clearing doubles at different tracks.
Competitive Highlights
Last year was my first time riding a real gas dirt bike, and I was crazy enough to try racing. Turns out, I was a natural and ended up taking 1st overall in the HCMA series in the 50cc 4-6. I just finished my second season and placed 2nd in the 50cc 7-8 and 1st in the 50cc open. I also raced in a new series, the Top Dawg, and ended up placing 1st in the Girls Jr., 2nd in the 50cc 7-8, and 1st in the 50cc open. My favorite race this season was at the Kalispell Top Dawg where I came home with 4 1st place trophies, and was the only 50cc rider to clear the big double at the finish. I was definitely the fan favorite.
